A T V Bakery was started in 1941 when three local bakers, Joseph Albert, George Tomasi, and Leonard Vecchio, combined their talents and efforts at 36 South Third Street in Reading. They began by using only all natural ingredients, no preservatives and baking four types of bread and rolls in hearth oven. Over sixty years later, brothers Joe and Brad, the third generations of Alberts, still use the original recipe. Their reputation for consistent quality and personalized customer service has allowed the company to grow to 45 employees delivering over 30 products daily to 600 customers in Berks, Lancaster, Lebanon, Chester, Cumberland, Schuylkill, York and Lehigh counties. |
